Teralyn Brown is a Bay Area artist and printmaker whose work uses primarily intaglio and photo-based processes. For Brown, intaglio combines the basic elements of painting and drawing that she enjoys, but adds a satisfying final etching process and comforting permanence in knowing that more of the image can be made. Having earned a BA in Studio Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Brown continues to use intaglio to pay tribute to her roots in pen and ink drawing with her distinct style of line work. She is currently working on her MFA in Printmaking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
